    2003-2005 Military Judge

    Presiding trial judge in general and special courts-martial for all Air Force bases located within the eastern third of the United States.

    2000-2003 Chief Appellate Government Counsel of the Air Force

    Chief Appellate Counsel for Air Force in all appeals of court-martial convictions. Drafted, edited, and reviewed all appellate submissions to the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and the Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals. Personally argued cases before both appellate courts. Supervised 12 appellate attorneys and provided trial advice for Air Force prosecutors world-wide. Provided specialized trial advocacy training for all Air Force prosecutors.

    1998-2000 Chief Circuit Trial Counsel, Europe

    Chief prosecutor for all Air Force court-martial in Europe and the Middle East. Provided advice to both base-level and higher headquarters legal staffs on military justice matters. Trained base-level prosecutors in circuit in criminal trial advocacy.

    1997-1998 Chief, Military Justice

    Responsible for all disciplinary actions associated with approximately 10,000 members from administrative reprimands, separation actions, and courts-martial at the largest and busiest military justice jurisdiction in Air Force. Provided advice to over 80-plus command units in all aspects of disciplinary actions. Provided legal training to joint military police unit and two large military investigation units.

    1994-1997 Deputy Staff Judge Advocate

    Principle assistant to lead staff attorney for base with population in excess of 4000 active duty military personnel. Provided legal advice on all civil and criminal issues to commanders, first sergeants and key base personnel.

    1996 Staff Judge Advocate

    Sole legal advisor in deployed location in support of Operation SOUTHERN WATCH. Provided legal advice in all areas of the law and acted as Host Nation Liaison.

    1993-1994/1990-1992 Area Defense Counsel

    Sole defense counsel at two separate locations for all adverse disciplinary actions. Personally responsible for representation of populations exceeding 10,000 active duty military members in all disciplinary action from administrative reprimands, to separation actions and all forms of courts-martial.

    1992-1993 Chief, Adverse Actions

    Responsible for all administrative disciplinary actions associated with active duty population of approximately 10,000 members from reprimands to separation actions.

    1992-1993/1989-1990 Special Assistant U.S. Attorney

    Personally prosecuted civilian offenders for all misdemeanors committed on two separate federal installations.

    1988-1990 Assistant Staff Judge Advocate

    Provided legal advice in a variety of areas from civil action to criminal prosecutions.
